Like most people I dreaded the idea of shopping for a used car and dealing with used car salesmen. But my old car had 221,000 miles on it, and it was time. After a few duds, I found one that seemed to have everything I wanted. I worked with Simon at Auto Connections. Excitement kicked in and I bought it a couple of hours later. I started to worry that I had been too hasty and decided to get an inspection after the fact just to put my mind at ease. Bad news: the mechanic found some things that I really should have known about before purchase. I called up Simon and explained what the mechanic found. Simon was willing to work with me to make it right. Even though I had signed several papers that said the sale was AS IS, Simon continued to make sure that I was happy with my new car. He definitely is not what you expect from a used car salesman. I have told my story to many friends and even though it sounds too good to be true, I guess it happens sometimes! The reason these people have exceptional reviews on their wall is they are exceptional and stand out above the rest - way above. We recently bought a Tahoe from them (we dealt with Kurt) and had a wonderful experience! We called first to make sure the Tahoe was still available and made an appointment with Kurt to come in an test drive it, along with a Toyota Land Cruiser. He was extremely nice, knowledgeable and honest. He went over both vehicles in detail. What he didn't know about the Tahoe, he found out. We test drove both vehicles on our own, without Kurt, and told him we would let him know what we decided on the next day. There was no pressure whatsoever. What a change from Toyota in Bellevue that we had been to five days before and the salesperson called and emailed every single day until we told him to back off! The Tahoe was much less expensive but there was no push to get us into the higher priced vehicle (even though the Tahoe wasn't in Kurt's bank of cars. Each salesperson is responsible for a certain number of vehicles and the Tahoe was actually managed by someone else.) When we went in to make the purchase, we met with Kurt again. We had a seven year old boy with us (talk about a short attention span) and Kurt was great with him. Didn't seem annoyed at all. I've already recommended them to two people and will continue to do so. We are 110% satisfied and happy with the experience. Top notch all the way. Don't walk, run if you're looking for a "new to you" car. You will not be disappointed.

While online, I saw an ad for a used car via http://autotrader.com that linked me right to http://autoconnectionsea…. After submitting an online financing request, it was a surprise to get a phone call reply from Auto Connections East in less than 15 minutes! While on the phone, I made an appointment to test drive the car the next day and got directions to the dealership. The next afternoon, I drove to the place on Northup Way and after being greeted at the door by a dog named Rusty, I took the car on a test drive, thanks to Kurt Geibel, one of their sales people. Kurt was kind and courteous, with lots of relevant info about the car (what was right as well as what was wrong), without any impatience or pressure whatsoever (I know, cool).
When we returned to the dealership and I expressed interest in the car, Kurt was able to secure financing that very afternoon, and after many signatures and agreeing on a down payment, I drove off with my new (used) car that very day! Now I know that not all used car experiences are perfect, but this one came pretty close, thanks to Kurt and all the folks at Auto Connections East in Bellevue. I appreciate the great effort that they made on my behalf, and recommend their staff to anyone looking for a used car.

I recently purchased a used mini-van from Auto Connections East, and I have to say that I've never had such excellent service from a car dealership before. The experience wasn't perfect, but when things went wrong, the people here went FAR out of their way to make things right for me and my family. I was a little skeptical about their claims to be different from other car dealerships at first, but I really did find that they were not at all pressuring me to purchase anything. It was a relaxed experience to test and decide to purchase a mini-van I'd seen advertised. Now for the bad part; the van started showing transmission problems as I drove it off the lot (having not shown any problems during the testdrive). I had broken my own rule of having an external mechanic examine the car, and I realized that I was just out of luck. Buyer beware and all that. We were moving out of state and we thought we'd limp the car to our new residence and then fix it (a VERY expensive issue). However, as we drove out of town, loaded to the gills, it was very clear that we would not make it. Instead we drove back to Auto Connections, knowing that they did not HAVE to do anything for us, but just hoping they might have some ideas. They were very apologetic and several of them worked with us for the better part of the day to explore a whole range of options. They went so far out of their way and so obviously truly cared. Even while I was frustrated with the situation, I was so grateful to have them care and help us in the midst of a very stressful time.

In the end, the best option for us ended up being to trade the van back in for a different van (an option which they actually tried to discourage earlier because the other van was more expensive). They gave us an excellent trade-in value even with the now known transmission issue, and I felt that it was a VERY fair process. We transferred all of our things (including two small children and a dog) into the new van and headed out of town for our four day trip to our new home. We LOVE the new van, and without a doubt, we would buy a car from Auto Connections East again as well as telling everybody we know to check them out for auto purchases. They have since followed up with us and refunded us additional money that they were able to get from the trade in. I really can't say enough nice things about this business, the owner, and the salesman that we worked with. I completely recognize that most dealers would have just said "tough luck" but the people are Auto Connections East are definitely not "most people!"

I'd been searching for a quality used car for a number of weeks and finally came upon what looked to be a great car at a great price offered for sale by Auto Connections in Bellevue. When I arrived, naturally with my defenses up, I was pleasantly surprised at, not only the courteous and respectful manner with which I was greeted, but also at how clean and professional looking the dealership was. That's a big deal to me! I asked to see the car I was interested in, was given lot's of space and time to view the car, and didn't feel even the slightest bit of pressure from anyone trying to "sell" me anything. All of my questions were answered, I loved how I was able to take the car for a test drive by myself, and I was able to have the car independently inspected without a problem. When I returned from the inspection I sat down with Stu (he's the owner) and after no more than 10 minutes of easy, light negotiations, I purchased the car of my dreams at a very fair price. As a follow-up, a couple of days after I bought the car the check engine light came on. I called Stu and he told me to bring the car in, which I did. He had the car repaired (it was something emissions related?) not only at no cost to me, but he gave me a loaner car to drive for the day!! It's been a little over a month since I bought the car and I absolutely love it! Auto Connections was very fair and professional and I felt as though I was treated with integrity throughout the entire process. I will definitely refer them to anyone I know who's even remotely considering buying a car.
